## Configuring Infrasense

Configuring Infrasense sensor depends on various software functions which you intend to enable and use. Follow the sections below depending on your respective functional requirements

The following files in the configuration directory need to be validated and may have to be edited to set the correct configuration, to monitor the applications running on the server.

The following points are important to keep in mind with respect to setting configuration:

- Typically, Infrasense is installed on an active server directly - for instance web-servers running applications such as Apache, Tomcat, Java, or any other engine.
- By default users can fine-tune configuration files associated with applications that the enterprise wants to monitor.
