## Configuring Netsense for Enterprise360

**Important**: Enterprise360 has to be installed prior to installing and configuring Netsense (packet sensor).  You would need Enterprise360 IP address information to configure your Netsense packet sensor.

This involves making changes in the configuration file td_pkt_sensor.cfg

Perform the following steps as directed to set the necessary configuration for Netsense to communicate with Enterprise360.

Go to **"cd /usr/local/thoughtdata/netsense/etc"** Open the file td_pkt_sensor.cfg using the vi command as illustrated.

Edit the td_pkt_sensor.cfg file

Line #2 has a default ip address entry. Change this to the ip address assigned to the master node installation of your Enterprise360. See highlight below.

Change the IP address entry to the one assigned to the master node of Enterprise360.

**Note**: Change only the ip address. Do not change the port number associated with the ip address.

Save changes and exit the file using the wq! command.

At this point Netsense configuration to communicate with your Enterprise360 is completed. Proceed to the next procedure to start the Netsense Sensor processes.
