## Configuring URL for Synthetic Monitoring

To use the "Synthetic Monitor - URL"  workflow the URLs for running related transactions have to be configured in Enterprise360. 

Perform the following steps to set up URLs for this monitor.

 Click "Entity Configuration" in the left pane menu as illustrated below.

 Click "URL" in the "Entity Type" drop-down list as illustrated below.

 Click "Add New" as illustrated below.

 Enter all URL related details in the configuration tab as illustrated below.

- Click the sensor name from the drop-down list.
- Type the related data in the "Profile" field.
- Type the URL you wish to configure in the "URL" field.
- Check the "TLS Verification" box if you wish to disable it.
- Type the number of minutes in the "Interval" field.
- Type a user name and related password in the respective field.
- Click "Save" to add the URL.

Repeat the steps 1 to 4 to configure more URLs. When they are all added you can start synthetic monitoring. See [Synthetic Monitor - URL](Synthetic_Monitor.htm).

**Note**: Every URL that needs to be tested using the Synthetic Monitor has to be configured manually using the steps described above.
